Random Student (teachers) app for iPhone and iPad

Now there is no need for teachers to use popsicle sticks or playing cards to call on students in class at random. Instead, use your iPhone or iPad to call on students in a truly random manner. For student enjoyment, use the text to speech option so students can hear their name called aloud.

This free version allows use for 1 class, so you can truly try out the app on your device. If you find the app useful, please consider purchasing the paid app which allows up to 9 classes.

In my classroom I allow the students to push the random call button to select the next student at random. This really takes teacher bias out of the selection process and the students feel a need to answer when the device speaks their name.
